Mary M Designs was born from a simple idea: the things we love deserve to be celebrated. The stories that stay with us, the places that feel like home, the music that becomes the soundtrack to a season of life, and the little moments that somehow become our biggest memories.

I started Mary M Designs because I wanted to create products that felt personal. Pieces that spark a memory, start a conversation, or make someone smile every time they reach for them. Today, that's still at the heart of everything I design.

Based in Ottawa, Ontario, I create thoughtfully designed accessories, gifts, and everyday keepsakes inspired by nostalgia, storytelling, travel, and the moments that connect us. Whether you're treating yourself or searching for the perfect gift, my hope is that every piece feels like it was made with intention, and that it means something to the person who receives it.

One of my favourite parts of this business is getting to connect with customers - whether that’s at local markets and events, or through social media. There's something special about hearing why someone connects with a design or watching them find the perfect gift for a friend. Those conversations remind me that the best products aren't just beautiful - they tell a story.

As a small business owner, every design begins as an idea at my desk before becoming something I carefully create, package, and send out into the world. Every order, every kind message, every market visit, and every share on social media helps this little dream continue to grow, and I never take that support for granted.
